TCF Canada exam in Nigeria: where to take it, price and past questions
In Nigeria, the only centre with a TCF Canada page that we found is Alliance Française de Lagos. You register on its online portal. The centre does not publish a naira price on that page, so ask it for the fee. We found no official past questions, but you can practise with our own tasks.
Where to take TCF Canada in Nigeria
Alliance Française de Lagos has a TCF Canada page and a registration portal. Its website also lists an Ikeja branch and an Ikoyi branch. We found no TCF Canada pages at Alliance Française centres in other Nigerian cities, so this is the only centre we can point to. That is not proof that no other centre offers it: ask before you plan a trip.
Alliance Française d'Ibadan says on its website that it offers exams including DELF, DALF, TEF and TCF. It does not mention TCF Canada separately, so write to the centre and ask if TCF Canada is available.
Price in Nigeria
The Lagos TCF Canada page does not show a fee in naira, and we do not repeat prices from blogs because they are often out of date. Open the centre's registration portal or email the Exams Director at [email protected]. Ask for the current fee, the dates and the payment method. When we checked, the portal was showing only DELF and DALF sessions, so TCF sessions may not be open all the time.
The centre says there is no postponement and no refund once you have completed your registration, even if you cannot attend. Check your passport name and the date before you pay. For more on cost, see TCF Canada exam fees.
Who can take it and what the exam looks like
Alliance Française de Lagos says TCF Canada is for anyone aged 16 or over, whatever their nationality or mother tongue, who needs to prove their French for economic immigration to Canada or Canadian citizenship. It says the test is accredited by IRCC and that there is no exemption case for TCF Canada.

How to register
- Register online on the centre's website and portal.
- Wait for the confirmation email. The centre says it arrives during the week after your registration.
- Ask questions by email to the Exams Director, [email protected].
Dates and sessions change, so we do not list them here. Check the portal for the latest.
Results and certificate
The centre says results are sent to AF Lagos within 15 working days of the exam. The certificate is valid for 2 years and you collect it at AF Lagos only. Each person receives one copy, so make your own copies. The centre also says France Éducation international is not accepting re-marking requests from 1 September 2026, until further notice. So aim above the score you need, especially in writing and speaking. Use the score calculator to turn your scores into NCLC levels.
Past questions: what is true
We found no official TCF Canada past questions. Files that claim to be "real questions" or "leaked topics" do not come from any official source we found, and we do not publish them. You cannot know which topic you will get, so memorising an old answer is a weak plan.
What you can do instead:
- Practise the format. Read the guides for Task 1, Task 2 and Task 3.
- Write with a timer. Our writing mock exam gives you the 3 tasks with a 60-minute timer and scores each text.
- Get every text corrected. Paste your answer in the checker below to see a score out of 20, your NCLC level and each mistake explained.
